Prayagraj: The Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University, Prayagraj, conducted the B.Ed. and B.Ed. Special Education entrance exams for the 2026-27 academic year, conducted peacefully on Friday at 13 examination centers across 10 districts. The coordinator of the Entrance Examination Organizing and Conducting Committee stated that 85% of candidates appeared for the B.Ed. and B.Ed. Special Education entrance exams. The entrance exams were held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Following the instructions of Vice Chancellor Professor Satyakam, supervisors and a core committee were deployed at all centers to ensure the successful conduct of the entrance exams. Under their supervision, the exams were conducted transparently at all centers. Candidates were enthusiastic about the exams. Keeping their convenience in mind, the entrance exams were held in Agra, Ayodhya, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Varanasi, and Prayagraj. In Prayagraj, candidates took the exams at the Triveni Community Center on the university’s Yamuna campus and at the Government Inter College. A help desk established at the university continuously received information from all examination centers regarding the smooth conduct of the exams. The entrance exam result will be declared soon.
