Prayagraj: An awareness programme regarding the new Income Tax Act 2025 (starting 2026) was organised in the auditorium of Aaykar Bhawan by Mr Prakash Chandra Mishra, Income Tax Officer (Intelligence & Criminal Investigation), Allahabad under the direction of Income Tax Director (Intelligence & Criminal Investigation) and Joint Income Tax Director (Intelligence & Criminal Investigation), Lucknow, in which members of Bar Association and CA Association as well as representatives of business community were present. During the programme, Income Tax Officer

(Intelligence and Criminal Investigation), Allahabad provided detailed information regarding the new Income Tax Act 2025 and also presented a comparative analysis of the old Income Tax Act 1961 and the new Income Tax Act 2025. It was also informed that the new Income Tax Act, 2025, uses simpler words than the old Income Tax Act 1961, making it easier for common people to read and understand. During the program, CA Ajay Agarwal, Piyush Kesarwani, Amit Agarwal, Advocate Arvind Mishra, SK Yogeshwar, 2025, Sanjay Jaiswal, Uday Tiwari, Pawan Mishra, Nandan Sonkar, Yogeshwar Rai, Arun Singh, Shubham Malviya, Neelam Maurya, Rajesh Gupta, Gyanendra Srivastava also expressed their views on the new Income Tax Act 2025.
