Prayagraj: District President of Congress Party Gangapar, Ashfaq Ahmed, along with party officials, led the party to the flood-affected villages of Badra, Sonoti, Chhibaiyan, Tiwaripur, Kakra, Sotapur, Jamunipur, Dhanaicha, Katwarupur etc. and met the villagers and became aware of their problems. The public is suffering from the flood. People’s houses have been submerged in the water, animals are missing, the camel of Suresh Chandra of the village got washed away in the flood. Five cows of Ashrafi Lal are stuck in the flood water. In Pal Basti, hundreds of animals including sheep and goats of Ram Prasad Pal, Ram Adhar Pal, Lal Chandrapal, Buddhu Pal, Doctor Pal are stuck on the mound of the Ganga floodplain. District Congress President Ashfaq Ahmed informed the Tehsildar Phulpur about this and asked him to get the trapped cattle out. After that, the Tehsildar Phulpur started the work of getting the cattle out with the help of a boat. Mr. Ahmed said that the public is angry with the indifference of the BJP government, and immediate help is required. Ahmed has demanded from the government that the flood-affected people should be helped immediately. Congress Party Vice President Devraj Upadhyay said that the public and farmers and laborers are already struggling with poverty and insecurity. On the other hand, the flood has broken everyone’s back. The government should provide food items and financial help to every affected family. Former PCC member Bholanath Tiwari, Control Room Incharge Saddam Hussain Siddiqui, Mohd. Salim, Shyam Babu Yadav, Advocate Radha Raman Yadav, Shyam Ji Dhuria, Raju Sharma, Sunil Pandey, Mohd. Yusuf, Dilip Dubey, Harivan Singh Singarour, Manoj Patel, etc. were present in the delegation.
