Harasser got reward in the form of addl charge of zone 1

Prayagraj: There is Yogi government in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh where Chief Yogi has said many times that the male employees working with women working in government offices should not harass them. Those who do so will be punished. But this order of Yogi government probably does not apply to those employees who are considered as the earning members of the department. One such sensational incident made headlines in newspapers a few days ago when a Dalit woman employee working in Zone 6 of Municipal Corporation Prayagraj filed a complaint on her harassment. She complained to the Principal Secretary, Chief Minister and Women Commission. On this, the Municipal Corporation officials not only removed the victim woman employee from the zone but also gave the charge of another zone to the Tax Superintendent who harassed her, due to which the Yogi government’s intentions on women’s safety seem to be going in vain. A Dalit woman employee posted in Municipal Corporation Zone 6 made serious allegations against a Tax Superintendent. She complained to the Principal Secretary, Chief Minister and others, on which the accused uploaded his report on IGRS on his own without any competent officer, which the government took seriously, but in the name of action, the whole matter was put on hold when the matter When the news came in the newspaper, the responsible officer of the Nagar Nigam made the woman employee a scapegoat and removed her from the zone and gave the charge of an additional zone along with zone 6 to the accused. Sources said that he is the only tax superintendent who uses the government vehicle in a luxurious manner.
