Prayagraj: In the Civil Lines Ramlila, major events like the breaking of the bow and the dialogue between Laxman and Parashuram were staged. The audience chanted “Jai Shri Ram” (Victory to Lord Rama). At the Sita Swayamvara held in Janakpuri, kings and princes from far and wide attempted to lift the Shiva Dhanush, but none could even move it. Seeing this, King Janak said in anguish, “The earth has become desolate from heroes.”

Hearing Janaka’s words, Lakshmana became enraged, but Shri Ram restrained him. Then, with Vishwamitra’s permission, Shri Ram picked up Shiva’s bow and effortlessly broke it. As soon as the bow broke, the entire Ramlila venue echoed with chants of “Jai Shri Ram!”

At that very moment, Parashurama, who was meditating on Mahendrachal, was awakened from his meditation and, enraged, arrived at the gathering. As Parashurama and Lakshmana’s dialogue began on stage, the audience erupted in mesmerized applause and cheers. Authentic verses from the Ramcharitmanas were presented during the dialogue, and the sharp dialogue between Parashurama and Lakshmana made the stage thrilling.

Before the start of Ramlila, as chief guests, Bharatiya Janata Party’s Metropolitan President Sanjay Gupta, Anand Agarwal Lalu Ji & Company, Ajmat Siddiqui Tanishq Director formally inaugurated the program and performed aarti of Ram, Laxman and Sita. During the Ramlila performance, the scene of breaking the bow was the main attraction. When Ram Ji broke the Shiva bow, the entire premises echoed with chants of Jai Shri Ram. The Ramlila performance was very impressive and emotional, which left everyone emotional.

In this staging, Shobhit Brij Kushwaha played the role of Lord Shri Ram, Amit Kumar played the role of Laxman, Aditya Kush played the role of King Janak and Vikram Rai played the role of Lanka King Ravana.

During this program, the chief patron of the committee Anil Gupta, patron Dr. Subhash K Yadav, president Amit Singh, secretary Ajit Jaiswal, manager Shankar Suman, Arvind Yadav, vice president Vishal Kanojia, vice president Neeraj Kheda Pawan Ji Srivastava, director Jagdish Bandhu, Anant Dubey, Banti Dubey etc. were present.
