Prayagraj: On the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras, Prayagraj Police presented a precious gift to its citizens. The Surveillance Cell’s city team recovered 135 lost mobile phones, estimated to be worth approximately ₹3.5 million, and returned them to their rightful owners. The press briefing was held at the Triveni Auditorium, Reserve Police Lines, in the presence of DCP (city) Manish Kumar Shandilya and Additional DCP (city) Pushkar Verma.
Under the direction of Police Commissioner Jogendra Kumar and Additional Commissioner of Police, the Surveillance Cell City team traced these mobile phones using modern technological tools, including technical analysis, call records, CCTV footage, and www.ceir.gov.in portal.
