Prayagraj: Shri Vinay Sinha, a prominent socialist thinker and freedom fighter, was cremated with full state honours at Rasulabad Ghat (Teliarganj) on Friday. His eldest son, Shri Abhinav Sinha, lit the funeral pyre. Farewell with Guard of Honor: As a public freedom fighter, Vinay Sinha was accorded a Guard of Honor by the administration. During this emotional moment, the crowd bid him farewell with moist eyes. His passing marks the end of an era of ideological and democratic movements. The bereaved family and dignitaries were present: A large number of social workers, politicians, and intellectuals attended the condolence meeting held at the ghat. Family members included his son Abhinav, daughter Vatsala, daughter-in-law Khushboo, son-in-law Siddharth, granddaughter Anvi, granddaughters Yanya and Navya, as well as Ratnesh and Aditya.
