Grand organization of career guidance fair in Government Higher Secondary School Gohari
Prayagraj: A career fair was organized in the premises of Government Secondary School Gohari Prayagraj with the aim of helping the students to shape their future. The fair was inaugurated by Professor Dr. Gyan Prakash Yadav, Director of the Management Department of Rajarshitandan Open University, Uttar Pradesh Prayagraj, by garlanding the Saraswati statue and lighting a lamp. Principal Dr. Ravi Bhushan welcomed the subject experts who had come to the fair by garlanding them and introduced the subject experts. He advised the children to take positive help of technology along with hard work to make a career in life. The main speaker, career counselor Dr. Sugreev Singh gave a presentation with examples about how the children can achieve their goals by taking admission in various study courses. He also motivated the children and provided detailed information about how easy it is to shape their future. Dr. Kshatriyashal Singh, Professor of the B.Ed. Department at RTOU, Uttar Pradesh, Prayagraj, provided detailed information on how to overcome career challenges.
Dr. Shailendra Singh, Assistant Professor at the University, explained to the students at the fair the important points to consider when selecting subjects for Class 11, so that they avoid difficulties in pursuing various courses later in life. The Sub-Inspector of Phaphamau Police Station introduced the girls to the Mission Shakti program and explained the eligibility and process for selection to various positions, from constable to other positions in the police department.
The school’s Nodal Officer highlighted the importance of such events in career selection. In his address, Chief Guest Professor Dr. Gyan Prakash told the students that career selection can be made easier through time management. The key is to ensure that time management is not a mere show, but rather a practical one. Principal Dr Ravi Bhushan expressed his gratitude to the chief guest and subject experts who came to the career fair and honored them with mementos and concluded the program by thanking everyone. The program was attended by school children, president of the parent association, parents as well as school teachers Sarla, Poonam Yadav, Reena Pradhan, Anita Patel Lalchand, Rishi Soni and other dignitaries.
