Prayagraj: Listen, mother, that child is fortunate who is devoted to the words of both father and mother. A mother who looks after the happiness of both mother and father is rare in this world. Bringing these lines to life, the Hindu Spiritual and Service Institute, Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Prayagraj, organized a grand Matri-Pitru Vandan and Acharya Vandan Mahotsav to promote family values on Sunday at the Seva Sanskar Magh Mela camp located on Lal Sadak, Dakshin Patri, Parade Ground during the Magh Mela. On this occasion, many children worshipped their parents, and daughters-in-law worshipped their mothers-in-law by applying tilak and offering flowers. Children washed their parents’ feet and paid their respects. Over a hundred boys and girls paid their respects to their elders and expressed their gratitude. Chief guest, President of the Institute and former Vice Chancellor of BHU, Prof. Girish Chandra Tripathi, praised the program and gave children a captivating account of the glory of parents and teachers. He urged them to imbibe the ideal of Ram in their hearts. It is said that it is not possible to describe the greatness of parents.
In the program, eminent story teller Ganesh Dwivedi imparted spirituality through various incidents from Ramcharit Manas. Senior preacher and regional coordinator Amarnath said that that son is very fortunate whose parents are happy with him. Senior preacher coordinator Amarnath, Ganga Dutt Joshi, Nagendra Jaiswal, Sanjay Shukla, Hiralal Bhola Tiwari, councilor Ashish Kumar Dwivedi, Arun Dubey, Anita Tiwari, Nanhe Lal Chaudhary, Rajesh Mishra, Yash Vikram Tripathi, Ashrafi Singh, Ram Dheeraj Tripathi, councilor Deepika Patel, former councilor Alka Srivastava, Mridul Bajpai, Bhavyansh Agarwal, Saurabh Dubey, Manish Dwivedi etc. were present in the program.
