Prayagraj: The Uttar Pradesh Congress Seva Dal (UPC) formally inaugurated a four-day special Samarth Training Camp from Friday, January 8th to 11th, organized by Dr. Pramod Pandey, President of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Seva Dal. Over 150 trainees from various districts of the state participated on the first day of the camp. Under Dr. Pandey’s leadership, Seva Dal workers distributed blankets to over 1,000 poor and disabled people. Tulsi plants were also distributed to devotees attending the Magh Mela. Later, under Dr. Pandey’s leadership, a group recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa was held at Bade Hanuman Ji. Approximately 1,000 Hanuman Chalisas were distributed to the devotees present. Dr. Pandey stated that the camp will train people in discipline, dedication, and loyalty.
He explained that for the past 70 years, the Seva Dal has been continuously serving the millions of devotees who have come to the Kumbh Mela and Magh Mela, reuniting the lost and the separated, providing immediate treatment to the injured, and providing food to the hungry. He said that Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee President Ajay Rai will address the camp on January 10 and Deputy Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Pramod Tiwari will address the camp on January 11. City Congress President Fujail Hashmi, Sudhakar Tiwari, Shri Prakash Mishra, Kishore Varshney, Anil Dev Tyagi, Harikesh Tripathi, Satish Bind, Laxmi Narayan Dixit, Kanishka Rafael, Afsana Ansari, Kaushalesh Pathak, Haseeb Ahmed, Shanti Rawat, Anupam Srivastava, Abhijit Kushwaha, Atit Bagi, Aminuddin etc. were present.
