FuGen International School honoured with “Best School in Active Learning”
Award at World School Summit 2026, held in Malaysia, marking a significant achievement for the institution and the region it represents
Prayagraj: The award recognises FuGen International School’s commitment to student-centred, inclusive, and holistic education, with a strong focus on active learning practices that promote participation, creativity, and real-world application of knowledge.
Active learning forms the foundation of FuGen’s educational approach. The school emphasises experiential and inquiry-based learning through Science and Innovation Labs,
Robotics exposure, and practical classroom activities, enabling students to develop critical thinking, curiosity, and future-ready skills. Alongside modern education, the school integrates moral and ethical education through Deeniyat studies and Arabic as a subject, ensuring balanced intellectual and value-based development.
A distinctive feature of FuGen International School is its emphasis on child psychology and emotional well-being. Teachers undergo continuous training in child psychology to address
the diverse emotional, behavioural, and learning needs of students, creating a supportive and motivating learning environment.
The school has also gained recognition for its efforts to bring school dropouts back into formal education. During the previous academic year, FuGen provided admission to 104 students, of which 92 were school dropouts, reaffirming its commitment to inclusive education and second-chance learning opportunities.
FuGen’s curriculum is designed to provide next-generation learning opportunities at minimal cost, including Robotics training, foreign language exposure, early career guidance, financial
literacy, and legal awareness. Students are also prepared for competitive examinations, ensuring readiness for higher education and global opportunities. Beyond academics, the school offers evening improvement classes and structured doubt-clearing sessions to support personalised learning. Equal emphasis is placed on personality development, soft skills, and regular health check-ups, promoting overall student well-being.
Sports education forms an integral part of the school’s holistic model. Through its Integrated Sports Academy, FuGen provides free training in Boxing, Karate, Taekwondo, Table Tennis,
and Football. Students have represented the school at district-level competitions, winning-multiple medals, and one student has also achieved a national-level medal. Access to sports training and library facilities is provided free of cost to ensure equal opportunities for all students.
To reduce barriers to education, the school offers scholarships, special fee support, free transport facilities, safe van services, and subsidised or complimentary access to FuGenEd
learning resources for deserving students. The leadership of Group Chairman Mr. Mohammad Talha Hanfi, CEO of FuGenEd Group Ms. Iqra Nawab, and Principal Mrs. Mariya Jamal has been instrumental in establishing a culture of innovation, inclusion, and active learning at the institution. The school also acknowledged the contribution of its teaching and non-teaching staff for their dedication and commitment.
The recognition at the World School Summit further strengthens FuGen International School’s mission to deliver quality, affordable, and structured education that integrates academics, values, technology, sports, and life skills, while nurturing confident, ethical, and socially responsible individuals.
