Prayagraj: An important felicitation ceremony was organized by Aishwaryam Literary, Cultural and Social Organization. On this occasion, Kamta Ram Pal, respected officer of Additional Director of Education (Basic), Prayagraj was honored for his cooperation in the successful conduct of the “World Suicide Prevention Day” program being organized by the organization on 10th September continuously for the past years and for his cooperation in social awareness. In this felicitation ceremony, the organization’s manager M.K. Rajpal, Advocate, High Court Allahabad and Advocate Vivek Yadav felicitated Mr. Pal by presenting him a memento of the organization. During the program, the organization’s representatives presented detailed information about the social, educational and public awareness campaigns conducted on Suicide Prevention Day in the past years.

In his address, Kamta Ram Pal praised the organization’s commendable efforts. He said that suicides due to mental stress, depression, and social pressure are becoming a serious social challenge these days. Therefore, public awareness programs like this are extremely necessary.

He assured that the Education Department will provide all possible support to this campaign and it will be widely publicized through schools and educational institutions, so that more and more people can become aware about this issue.

In his address, Mr. Pal also said, “If we succeed in saving even one life through this campaign, it will be a very virtuous and religious act for the society.” At the end of the program, the organization’s officials resolved to make the Suicide Prevention Day program, to be held on September 10, 2026, more comprehensive and effective and appealed to all sections of society for active participation in it.
