Prayagraj: On the occasion of World Environment Day, the North Central Railway Women’s Welfare Organization, Headquarters, Prayagraj, organized a large-scale tree planting event on 05.06.2026 (Friday), by its President, Mrs. Hima Chauhan Singh, in Railgaon Colony, Subedarganj (near the lawn tennis court). Executive members of the organization also planted trees on this occasion. On this occasion, the organization’s president delivered the message that trees are the most important source of oxygen, which provides us with the basic necessities of life. Planting trees not only increases greenery but also conserves biodiversity.

On this occasion, the organization’s secretary Mrs. Sadhana Kumar, Mrs. Supriya Sinha, Mrs. Shruti Sachan, Mrs. Sangeeta Dwivedi, Mrs. Renu Poonia, Mrs. Rakhi Dwivedi, Mrs. Charu Gupta, Mrs. Ayushi Bhatnagar, Mrs. Dr. Manju Lata Handu, Mrs. Bhavana Singh, Mrs. Yusra Yusuf and Mrs. Sofia were also present.
