Prayagraj: Principal Dr. A.K. Verma and Chief Superintendent Dr. Neelam Singh conducted a surprise inspection at the Trauma Center of Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital, Prayagraj. They reviewed the facilities available to patients at the Trauma Center, inspected the attendance of all staff, and ordered action on the following points:
The Ortho OT complex, which was closed for a long time, was opened and will be repaired and made operational as soon as possible. Ordered to appoint ward boys for smooth functioning in all the wards so that there is no inconvenience in the maintenance of patients.
Ventilators in the ICU of the Trauma Centre were repaired and checked for working condition and the concerned people were ordered to regularly service each ventilator. The surgery operation theatre of the trauma centre will be repaired. Duty rooms for doctors of Forensic Medicine Department for medicolegal work in the Trauma Centre will be allotted as soon as possible.
For the convenience of patients, a money deposit counter will be started in the Trauma Centre. For the convenience of patients, a 24-hour blood sample collection centre will be started in the trauma centre. For the convenience of patients, 24-hour CT scan and X-ray facilities will be provided, for which additional technicians will be appointed. Toilets in all wards of the Trauma Centre should be cleaned regularly every 2 hours.
During the surprise inspection of the labour room of the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department by the Principal and Chief Superintendent, orders were given on the following important points – Water coolers will be installed as soon as possible to provide drinking water to the doctors treating the patients. The concerned people will be contacted as soon as possible to resolve the water problems occurring in the operation theatre of the labour room.
Toilets for labour room, doctors and patients will be kept clean and repaired as soon as possible. The number of labour tables for delivery in the labour room will be increased.
