Prayagraj: On the occasion of World Population Day (July 11), various programs were organized at Cantt High School, New Cantt, Prayagraj, to raise awareness among students about population growth, its adverse effects, and population control measures. As part of the program, the school organized an essay competition, a debate competition, and a painting competition. In the essay competition, students expressed their views on the topics “The Adverse Effects of Population Growth” and “The Impact of Population Growth on Health and Education.” In the debate competition, students engaged in meaningful discussions on the challenges posed by population growth and their solutions.
In the painting competition, students presented messages related to population awareness through their creative talents. During the prayer meeting, the school’s Principal, Mohammad Ansar, explained that the growing population adversely impacts the country’s resources, education, health, employment, and the environment. He urged students to raise awareness about population control and family planning and to spread the message of “Small Family, Happy Family” to everyone. All the teachers and students of the school enthusiastically participated in the program. On this occasion, the school family also pledged to promote population stabilization and awareness.
