Prayagraj: Under the direction of Dr. Prabhat Kumar, Regional Chief Commissioner of Bharat Scouts and Guides, Uttar Pradesh, and under the guidance of R.N. Vishwakarma, Joint Director of Education, Prayagraj Division, and under the leadership of Dr. Santosh Kumar Rai, District Chief Commissioner/District School Inspector, and with the support of Dr. P.P. Singh, District Secretary, the Scout and Guide teams from Prayagraj district participated in the divisional-level street play/skit competition at the Regional Training Center, Mumfordganj. Shri Ram Pratap Inter College, Sirsa, Prayagraj, won first place in the Scout category, and Shri Ram Pratap Inter College, Sirsa, Prayagraj, also won first place in the Guide category. Joint Director of Education, R.N. Vishwakarma, District Chief Commissioner, and District School Inspector, Dr. Santosh Kumar Rai, blessed the winning Scout and Guide teams.

The District Chief Commissioner commended the Scout and Guide students and encouraged them to work hard in their studies and achieve the highest marks. Joint Director of Education, R.N. Vishwakarma, stated that Scouting instills discipline in children, and discipline is what makes a nation great. In this way, Scouts and Guides have immense utility. Dr. P.P. Singh said that Dr. Prabhat Sir’s vision is a unique innovation to keep Scouts and Guides relevant and important. Sundaram Shukla, Assistant District Secretary Piyush Kumar Singh, A.L.T. Scout, and Yashwant Singh were present on the occasion.
