Prayagraj: With a commitment to environmental protection and a greener future, the Lions Club Allahabad Sangam successfully organized a tree-planting program at Anglo Bengali Inter College, Allahabad. The program’s objective was to spread awareness about environmental protection by planting as many trees as possible and to create a clean and green environment for future generations.
Club officials and members enthusiastically participated in the program, planting various species of trees and pledging to protect them. Those present were urged to spread the “One Tree for Mother Earth, One Tree for the Earth” campaign to the masses.
Club President Lion Namdev Madhwani said that trees not only protect the environment but also provide oxygen, clean air, and a balanced climate for human life. Secretary Lion Mahesh Agarwal appealed to all citizens to plant and care for as many trees as possible.
Treasurer Lion Shishirkant, PRO Lion Abhilash Gupta, Environment Chairperson A.P. Singh, P.V. Kumar, Rishi Sethi, Ira Sethi, Sanjay Srivastava, Manish Khanna, Akanksha Khanna, and several other club members were present. Expressing gratitude to all the associates, teachers, students, and citizens present, Lions Club Allahabad Sangam reiterated its resolve to continue organizing such programs related to public welfare and environmental protection in the future.
