Prayagraj: After the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in the NEET exam paper leak case, huge enthusiasm is being seen among the Congress workers and the general public. Describing this as a big victory for the students’ struggle, Congress has come out on the streets. Under the leadership of District Gangapar Congress Committee President Ashfaq Ahmed, a crowd of Congress workers and general public gathered at Sikandra intersection. Hundreds of people holding the tricolor and sweets in their hands welcomed this decision and expressed their happiness. This victory march, which started from Sikandra intersection, slowly moved forward carrying the statues of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and creator of the Constitution Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar.

At the conclusion of the march, Congress workers organized a meeting sitting in front of the Gandhi statue. During this time, the atmosphere became very encouraging when the people present there sang the hymn ‘Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram, Patit Pavan Sitaram’ and prayed for the bright future of the youth of the countryDuring this, while addressing the public meeting, Gangapar District President Ashfaq Ahmed said that this is the victory of the continuous struggle of the youth, students and their parents of the country. The government finally had to bow to the anger of the students and the Education Minister had to resign. This victory is proof that the voice of the people is supreme in democracy. The Congress Party will never let this fight for the rights of students and youth weaken. Every force playing with the future of the youth will have to step back. This victory march of ours is a symbol of the fact that dictatorship has to bow before the power of the people. Our fight will continue from the streets to the Supreme House (Parliament) of the country until the entire system becomes transparent.

The huge presence of youth, students and local citizens in this victory march has made it clear that the resignation of the Education Minister is a big step in favor of the students.
