Nano fertilizer revolutionary tech for agriculture: Ashish Srivastava
Prayagraj: A one-day cooperative training program was organized today at IFFCO Cordet Phulpur, Prayagraj with the aim of wide publicity of nano fertilizers and promoting their effective use among farmers. Senior officials of the Cooperative Department of Prayagraj Mandal participated enthusiastically in the program and had a detailed discussion on the use, benefits and future possibilities of nano fertilizers. The chief guest of the program was Deputy Commissioner and Deputy Registrar, Cooperative Prayagraj Mandal, Ashish Srivastava. State Marketing Manager Yatendra Kumar Tewatiya from IFFCO State Office, Lucknow was present as a special guest. Apart from this, all the Additional District Cooperative Officers of Prayagraj Division, Assistant Commissioner and Assistant Registrar (Cooperative) and officers of Cooperative Department of various districts participated in the programIn his address, chief guest Ashish Srivastava said that nano fertilizer is a revolutionary technology for Indian agriculture, which is playing an important role in higher production at lower cost, soil health protection and environmental balance. While sharing his experiences from the farmers, he said that the farmers who have used nano fertilizers scientifically have got positive results in both production and quality. He said that to make nano fertilizers available to more and more farmers, regular training programs should be organized at the level of secretaries and farmers, so that their wide dissemination can be ensuredState Marketing Manager Yatendra Kumar Tewatiya gave detailed information about the scientific utility of Nano Urea, Nano DAP and other nano fertilizers, their functioning and their benefits compared to traditional fertilizers. He called upon the present Additional District Cooperative Officers and Cooperative Department officials to promote the availability and sale of nano fertilizers through cooperative societies and motivate farmers to use them. He said that widespread use of nano fertilizers will prove to be an important step towards a self-reliant and sustainable agricultural system.
During the program, officials from different districts of Prayagraj division also expressed their views and presented their suggestions for promoting nano fertilizers and strengthening their business through cooperative societies. On this occasion, Assistant Commissioner and Assistant Registrar (Cooperative) Sadhna Singh from Prayagraj district, Shyam Lal Maurya from Kaushambi district and Umakant Kushwaha from Pratapgarh district and other officers shared their views on the use of nano fertilizers, awareness among farmers and the role of cooperative societiesAdditional District Cooperative Officers and other participants present in the program asked questions on various technical and commercial issues related to nano fertilizers of IFFCO, which were solved by Dr. D.K. Singh, Regional Manager, IFFCO Prayagraj Division in detail and in simple language. He also threw light on various aspects related to the method of use of nano fertilizers, benefits to farmers, scientific facts and marketing.
On this occasion, Dr., Principal of Cordet Phulpur, IFFCO Vivek Dixit gave detailed information about the institute’s training system, research activities and innovations being made in the agricultural sector. At the conclusion of the program, all the officers took a tour of the Cordet campus. At the conclusion of the program, all the officers visited the Nano /Fertilizer Plant located at IFFCO Phulpur and directly observed the entire process of manufacturing nano fertilizers. The officials learned how nano fertilizers are manufactured as per modern technology and scientific quality standards.
