Prayagraj: The first general body meeting of Lions Club Allahabad City for the year 26-27 was held with great pomp and joy at Hotel Velvet, Prayagraj. The meeting was held under the leadership of Club President Lion Kalpana Agarwal, with the efficient cooperation and management of Secretary Lion Meena Mandhyan and Treasurer Lion Archana Gupta. Members made several suggestions for the coming year and appealed for everyone’s cooperation in the service work. At the end of the meeting, all members enjoyed a meal together. Divisional President Uday Chandani congratulated the new office bearers. The Club’s Public Relations Officer, Media Incharge Lalu Mittal, said that the lecture on environmental protection, given by Prayagraj’s eminent scholar Lion Dr. Asha Asthana, was very useful and inspiring.

The definition of environment was explained and it was explained that the environment includes not only trees but all the living beings and animals around us. Living and non-living things are also included.
