Prayagraj: A one-day district karate competition was organized on Sunday at Prayagraj Amravati Garden Sulem Sarai in which more than 100 players of the district participated in which Rudra of the district performed brilliantly in the sub-junior – 45 kg weight category and won the gold medal.

Sub Junior – In the 55 kg weight category, he lagged behind by one point in the final round and had to settle for the silver medal. Junior – In the 55 kg weight category, Harshit Sonkar won the gold medal after fighting four rounds. Junior – In the 50 kg weight category, Shivam God won the gold medal. Ranveer Arya in the Sub Junior – 45 kg won the gold medal.

Cadet Jeet Kumar Manik won the silver medal in the 45 kg category. All these players take training from Karate instructor Atul Sonkar at the Madan Mohan Malaviya Stadium.
