Prayagraj: Under the guidance of Professor Satyapal Tiwari, Coordinator of the Faculty of Humanities, a slogan writing competition on the theme of a drug-free India was organized on Thursday at the Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University, Prayagraj, as part of the Drug Free India Campaign fortnight. Participants wrote powerful and inspiring slogans on various topics such as drug eradication, healthy living, youth empowerment, family responsibility, social awareness, and nation-building. The participants’ slogans prominently emphasized the message of urging society to stay away from drugs, encouraging youth to adopt a positive lifestyle, and building a healthy and strong India. The judges evaluated the participants’ slogans based on originality, brevity, effectiveness, accuracy of language, creativity, and positive social message. The jury commended the participants’ creative thinking and sensitivity to social concerns, noting that such programs play a crucial role in awakening youth to social responsibility. The objective of the competition was to develop public awareness among youth about the ill effects of drug abuse and, through creative expression, inspire society to build a drug-free India.

Vice Chancellor Professor Satyakam called on all students and researchers to play an active role in building a drug-free, healthy, and aware society. The program was conducted by Dr. Atul Kumar Mishra, and the vote of thanks was given by researcher representative and team leader Ms. Preeti.
