Prayagraj: On Friday, BJP workers paid tribute to Kalyan Singh “Babuji,” the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, former Governor of Rajasthan, and Padma Vibhushan awardee, on his death anniversary. Workers paid tribute to Kalyan Singh by garlanding and offering flowers to his portrait. Speaking on the occasion, keynote speaker, BJP Metropolitan General Secretary Dr. Shailesh Pandey, said that Babuji’s entire life was a precious chapter of national devotion, cultural consciousness, good governance, and public service. He was born into a humble farmer family. His journey from beginning his career as a teacher to reaching the highest position of Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh is a story of struggle and dedication. He proved that greatness comes not from a position, but from a person’s thoughts and good deeds. When the Ram Janmabhoomi movement was at its peak, Babuji never allowed power to interfere with his principles. He relinquished the Chief Minister’s post in an instant for the sake of Shri Ram’s cause and the national interest. His sacrifice is etched in history and teaches us that national interest is paramount. Kalyan Singh is no longer with us, but his ideals, his patriotism, and his life of struggle will always inspire us all. The program was conducted by Hemant Banerjee Dada. Vikramjeet Singh Bhadauria, Kunj Bihari Mishra, Vijay Srivastava, Ajay Singh, Manoj Srivastava, Councilor Praveen Bharti, Manoj Gupta, Gaya Prasad, Manoj Mishra, Vivek Mishra, Pawan Srivastava, Anil Goswami, Sandeep Yadav, Dr. Ravindra Pratap, Rashid Rain, Dharmendra Singh Patel, Avneesh Tiwari, Triveni Rai, and others were present.
