Prayagraj: Onsite emergency plan was rehearsed (mock drill) at IFFCO Phulpur unit. During this, a situation like ammonia leakage was created from the seal of low pressure cold ammonia pump P3501A of Ammonia-2. First the leakage started, after which the fire brigade team tried to control the ammonia gas and then rescue team took the injured to the hospital. After this, a review meeting of the onsite emergency plan was held with the local administration, IFFCO management and all Heads of Department. In the review meeting, Senior General Manager (Unit Head) PK Singh said that with continuous practice the shortcomings can be removed and the safety standards can be further strengthened. He congratulated everyone for excellent mock drill. 

During this, teams from Fire Department (IFFCO), GAIL (IFFCO), local administration, Fire Department Uttar Pradesh, Security Department cooperated in the rehearsal. In the rehearsal, Phulpur Fire Station Incharge Amarjeet Yadav, Vinod Kumar (GAIL), GMs respectively P.K.Patel, Ratnesh Kumar, Dr. Anita Mishra, A.K.Gupta, Arun Kumar, JGMs respectively P.K.Verma, R.P.Yadav, S.K.Singh, P.K.Tripathi, Sandeep Goel, Ashish Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Shailesh Sherkar, Vinay Vicky, Chief Manager Fire and Safety Department Sanjiv Kumar, HOD Human Resources Shambhu Shekhar, IFFCO Officers Association President Anurag Tiwari and General Secretary Swayam Prakash, Vivek Yadav, Anoop Kumar Yadav and officers and employees of the concerned department were present.
