Giving inspiring message of social service
Prayagraj: Continuing its continued dedication to social service and humanity, Rotary Club Prayagraj Sangam organized a Single Donor Platelet (SDP) donation program today. On this occasion, two dedicated blood donors from the club, Rotarians Devesh Jaiswal and Sumit Tirkey, volunteered and successfully donated Single Donor Platelets (SDP), setting an exemplary example of their responsibility to society.
SDP (Single Donor Platelet) donation is a special blood donation process that provides life-saving platelets to patients suffering from dengue, cancer, thalassemia, and other serious illnesses. This type of donation proves life-saving for many patients in need.
Rotarian Rishi Agarwal, Blood Donation Chairman of Rotary District 3120, Prayagraj Region, was specially present during the event. He praised both donors and said that regular blood and platelet donation is our moral responsibility to society, and every healthy person should participate in this noble cause from time to time.
Rotarian Amarendra Singh, President of Rotary Prayagraj Sangam, said that the club will continue to organize such public welfare programs in the future and will inspire more and more people to donate blood and platelets.
Club Secretary Rotarian Sadhana Srivastava expressed her gratitude to all the associates and blood donors and said that service to humanity is the basic objective of Rotary and with this spirit the club will continue to work for the welfare of the society. Rotary Club Prayagraj Sangam appealed to all the healthy citizens of the society to contribute in saving the lives of needy patients by donating blood and platelets regularly.
