Prayagraj: A delegation of senior advocates under the banner of Chambers Allotment Struggle Committee met the Chief Justice of the High Court Arun Bhasali and the Chairman and other members of the Chambers Allotment Committee on Tuesday, in which the Chief Justice informed that talks are going on with the state government and the talks are positive. The state government is ready to give Rs 24 crores to be spent on the maintenance of the multi-level parking building. Besides, the state government has also agreed to provide funds for furniture. In total, about Rs 44 crores are expected to be received from the state government. If this amount is received, then no advocate will be charged ₹1500 monthly rent for maintenance. On this, the office bearers of the Struggle Committee and senior advocates thanked the Chief Justice and expressed gratitude.

According to the decision taken in the meeting of the Chamber Allotment Struggle Committee held on Sunday, an appointment was sought to meet the Chief Justice. Today at 4:00 pm, the Chief Justice called the office bearers of the Struggle Committee and senior advocates for a meeting. In this, Struggle Committee convener Rajesh Khare, patron senior advocate Arun Gupta, president RP Tiwari, general secretary Jagdish Singh Bundela, senior advocate Dharampal Singh, Amrendra Nath Singh, RK Ojha, Dr CP Upadhyay, Anil Kumar Srivastava, BN Mishra, AC Tiwari, Mrs Sarita Singh, Mamta Maurya, Nanhelal Tripathi, Dharmendra Shukla, Ramanuj Tiwari etc advocates were present. During the discussion, apart from Chief Justice Arun Bhasali, Chamber Allotment Committee Chairman Justice MC Tripathi, senior member Justice SD Singh, Justice Ajay Bhanot, Justice Salil Kumar Rai, Justice Vikas Budhwar, Justice Arun Kumar Singh Deswal along with Registrar General and Infrastructure Registrar were present. The office bearers of the committee demanded from the Chief Justice that the period for filling the form for chamber registration should be extended. It should be extended for one more week because many advocates have not been able to fill their forms due to not being able to open bank accounts, then the Chairman of the Chamber Allotment Committee, Justice MC Tripathi informed that till now more than 9000 advocates have applied, soon the portal will be opened for the second phase of registration and the portal will be reopened for the left out people so that those who have been left out can also fill their forms, senior advocates and committee officials seemed satisfied with today’s discussion and also congratulated each other.
