Prayagraj: The Central Communications Bureau of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has organized ‘Integrated Communication and Outreach Program’ (ICOP) at Pandit Kripashankar Tiwari College in Meja tehsil of Prayagraj district. During this event, the Central Communications Bureau has organized a five-day exhibition, lectures, discussions, cultural programs, quiz competition on the topics ‘Developed India – G Ram G Law’, ‘Service, Good Governance and Prosperity’ and ‘Constitution Day’ between January 24 and January 28, 2026. In this sequence, Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare and Chemicals and Fertilizers, Anupriya Patel inaugurated the exhibition today.
Addressing the gathering, she stated that the government has replaced the existing MNREGA program with the “Developed India – G Ram G Law’.” The Minister stated that this law guarantees employment, similar to the previous MNREGA program, but the employment guarantee has been extended from 100 days to 125 days. She stated that this new law was introduced to address corruption in MNREGA, ensure transparency in implementation, and ensure public participation, ensuring local livelihoods for rural people and ensuring their role in development. She emphasized that it is our duty to educate everyone about the true realities of this new law so that people can benefit from it to the fullest extent.
The Union Minister stated that over the past eleven and a half years, the National Democratic Alliance government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has worked on the fundamental principles of service, good governance, and prosperity. The Union Minister stated that our country is poised to become the world’s third largest economy. He stated that India’s economy will be worth $7.3 trillion by 2030. The Union Minister noted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the country’s infrastructure has expanded significantly. He stated that unprecedented progress has been made in all sectors, including the road network, railway network, metro network, airport development, and rural road development. The Union Minister stated that our government’s objective is to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach 100% of beneficiaries under the principle of good governance in service. The Union Minister stated that our government has lifted more than 250 million people out of poverty, reflecting the Yogi government’s sensitivity towards the poor, the marginalized, and the underprivileged.
The Union Minister stated that our government has made historic progress in the health sector. Previously, the health sector was not a priority for the government, but under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) was launched to provide better healthcare facilities to the country’s citizens. Under this scheme, the poor are receiving free treatment through the Ayushman Card. He added that people are now receiving affordable medicines through the “Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Yojana.”
Anupriya Patel said that through this exhibition organized by the Central Bureau of Communication, people will become aware of the works and policies being done by the government for public welfare and will also be able to get information related to the Indian freedom struggle and the making of the Indian Constitution. She appealed to the people that a large number of local people should come and visit this exhibition. On this occasion, a large number of local people, students and people from electronic and print media were also present. This exhibition organized by the Central Bureau of Communication will continue from January 24 to January 28, 2026.
