Prayagraj: Taking an important step towards providing a common platform to the cinema of Hindi’s regional languages Bhojpuri, Awadh, Bundeli and Braj Bhasha, the official website of International Prayagraj Film Festival (IPFF 2026) was launched today with great pomp. This event was organised under the aegis of Madhubala Films Production House. Prayagraj’s Mayor Shri Ganesh Kesarwani was the chief guest, renowned announcer Dr Ranjana Tripathi and renowned bhajan singer Manoj Gupta were present as special guests in the program.
At the website launch, the organizers announced that the International Prayagraj Film Festival Awards 2026 is scheduled to be held in Prayagraj in October-November 2026. The objective of this international film festival is to provide a common platform for creators, directors, producers, artists, and young filmmakers from Hindi regional languages like Bhojpuri, Awadhi, Bundeli, and Braj, where excellent films will be screened, discussed, felicitated, and culturally exchanged.
Chief Guest Mayor Shri Ganesh Kesarwani, while congratulating the organizers at the website launch, said that Prayagraj, in addition to its cultural, literary, and spiritual heritage, is now poised to establish a new identity in the film and creative industries. International events like this will elevate the city’s cultural reputation to new heights.
On this occasion, Mr. Alok Malviya, Founder and Director of Madhubala Films Production House said that the objective of IPFF 2026 is not limited to just award distribution, but also to provide a global platform to emerging talents, promote the diversity of Indian cinema and establish Prayagraj as an important centre of film tourism and cultural activities.
He stated that the launched website will allow participants to access film submissions, registration, event guidelines, program information, and other essential information. The website will serve as a digital platform for filmmakers, artists, and cinema lovers.
The event was also broadcast live on Ujala Live and Madhubala Channel. The website launch ceremony was attended by numerous dignitaries from the film, media, arts, and social sectors, who all extended their best wishes for the success of IPFF 2026.
On this occasion, Kinetic Drive CEO Dr. Garima Kushwaha, senior advocate Santosh Tripathi, Pradeep Tiwari, permanent advocate of Uttar Pradesh government, Santosh Tiwari, senior journalist Kuldeep Shukla, Rajesh Allahabadi etc. were present.
