Doctors taught modern research methods

Motilal Nehru Medical College (MLNMC) held a faculty development workshop on artificial intelligence (AI) in health research on Saturday. Around 60 faculty members from various departments participated in the workshop, organized by the Multidisciplinary Research Unit (MRU) in the Medical Education Unit (MEU) auditorium.

The workshop was inaugurated under the patronage of Principal Dr. A.K. Verma. He stated that the role of AI in medical research is constantly increasing today. Using it correctly and responsibly can make research more effective and qualitative.

Keynote speaker Dr. D.K. Nim explained that AI can be used to easily gather research literature, develop research protocols, write scientific articles, analyze data, prepare research papers and grant proposals, and create better presentations. He also gave a live demonstration of various AI tools.

The workshop was organized under the guidance of Dr. Kavita Chawla, Professor in the Department of Physiology and Nodal Officer for MRU. Dr. Richa Singh, Associate Professor in the Department of Community Medicine and Co-Nodal Officer for MRU, conducted and coordinated the program. Participants expressed that such workshops are very helpful in improving research. The program concluded with a vote of thanks.
